Our Story
LifeSkillGames.com is the brain child of France-born Sebastian Gendry, the creator of the Laughter Wellness method and founder of the Laughter Online University.
20 years ago Sebastian was a very successful and very miserable corporate Jedi running his own business with over 80 employees in England. Eventually it became so bad that he took the conscious decision to not die the richest man in his cemetery, and so he quit. His healing journey took him on the roads of the world. He became an expert in various forms of body work and energy work, and it all helped. But the single most fun, healing, and rewarding thing he did in that time was to sign up for a laughter workshop in India. This was the X factor that he had been searching for years and he became a full time laughter professional, a job which led him to fly over 1 million kilometers offering hundreds of healing and empowering laughter events and trainings to thousands of people on 6 continents, as well as repeatedly appear on national media (TV, press, and radio) in 5 countries.
10 years ago, after much continuing study and practice he created the Laughter Wellness method, which is a powerful systemized delivery system for this laughter knowledge that all can use and benefit from. This was also the beginning of a new chapter in his laughter career as he was mentored into soft skill games by Bernie DeKoven (1941-2018), an American game designer and fun theorist, as well as Len Histon (1955-2018), creator of the Wizzdom game. Both these men gave him a new depth of understanding and appreciation for all that play can bring into people’s life.
Covid19 gave him the time and opportunity to carefully curate the best activities in his repertoire and share them with the world in an online format that leverages his many years of experience, for the benefit of all.
Sebastian lives in Los Angeles, California, with his wife (a professional therapeutic clown, master of performing arts) and son. They play daily as a family after dinner, often laughing so much that their belly aches :-)
